If you haven't heard of Scarface, go ahead and look him up. He's a character from the Batman movie and we tried to make our puppet as much as like him. The very first custom-made ventriloquist puppet from our workshop!

Scarface Dummy - The villain from the Batman movie

We love creating puppets of villains! They usually have strong characteristics and it's lots of fun! This one was a special custom order from one of our dear clients. The task was to make a ventriloquist dummy of Scarface.

First, we developed a ventriloquist mechanism that allows the puppet to move his eyes in all directions and of course his mouth. After we assembled the mechanism, we print out and paint the top coat - head and the rest of the body. The painting on this dummy is exquisite! Note the details like scars, mean-looking eyes, or skin tone. The outfit is hand-made including the hat.

The puppet stands 100cm and is operated from the inside of the body where the controller is placed.

Thank you for all your advice and help! Guys at Czech Marionettes are really masters of what they do. I have visited them in their studio and got my Skeleton there. Will buy more professional stuff there.

I was surprised by how easy and fun it is to operate. The controls and strings are straightforward, making it easy to create various dance movements. For its size, the puppet is very compact and can be comfortably carried in a small backpack. If you're looking for a simple yet entertaining and nice marionette, this marionette is a fantastic choice.
