Antonín Müller’s journey into puppetry began with a passion for woodcarving. After graduating from the School of Applied Arts in Prague, he honed his skills at the Central Puppet Theater, later joining the legendary Jiří Trnka Studioto work on animated films. In 1989, he took a bold step forward and became an independent artist, allowing his creative vision to flourish.
His remarkable puppets can be found on the stages of prestigious European theaters, including Theater SALZ+PFEFFER in Nuremberg and Kobalt Figurentheater in Berlin, as well as in museum collections such as the Kaikyo Drama Museum in Japan. Beyond creating, Müller is also a dedicated educator, sharing his knowledge through puppet-making workshops across Europe and as far as Australia.
With decades of experience, Antonín Müller continues to honor and redefine the Czech puppetry tradition, blending classical artistry with modern innovation. His work is more than just craftsmanship—it’s storytelling brought to life.
