Aleš’s journey began with a passion for woodcarving, leading him to the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he mastered the art of shaping and restoring wood. He honed his skills at the Art & Craft Centre in Prague, working on prestigious restoration projects such as Prague Castle, the Czech Parliament, and Dobříš Castle. His expertise spans across ornamental carving, French polishing, woodturning, and bespoke joinery, making him a sought-after craftsman in multiple fields.

But it is in puppetry where his artistic soul truly shines. Aleš designs and handcrafts marionettes that captivate collectors and performers alike, blending traditional techniques with a unique artistic vision. His puppets, rich in detail and character, bring the magic of storytelling to life.
