Absolut rockstar - singing Skeleton marionette

This marionette was created in our workshop as a custom order for one of our dear clients. The idea was to build a puppet that would resemble a famous rockstar, maybe Axl Rose, maybe Steven Tyler. We'll leave that up to you.

The mechanism for operating this marionette is not just strings. You use a special cross on the back of the puppet's head to make him open and close his mouth and move his head around. The hand playing the guitar is attached to a string and a wooden bar. The legs are part of a  special stand so you can move the puppet by moving the stand itself.

It takes some practice to lean the way with this skeleton but it's absolutely worth it.

The process of marionette making

This marionette was designed in a 3D graphic program and printed out afterward. Well, some parts. Each ''bone'' is carefully brushed so the surface is smooth, hand-painted, and assembled by our artists-puppeteers. The clothes are hand-sewn, and we are quite proud of such a fashionable outfit. The leather jacket is full of details and looks exactly like a real one. 

You cannot just take a quick look at this fellow. He's full of so many fantastic features, that you have to keep coming back to him. The painting of the skull itself is a piece of artwork, clothes, scarf, and of course, his guitar are completing his look to perfection.

Product details

This particular marionette is 80 cm tall. However, we can customize the size, clothes, or accessories for you. The time of the production is between 8 - 12 weeks.
