Wooden marionettes have always had a special place in our collection. This Princess rightfully belongs among the most detailed and beautiful pieces. Her face is jolly, the texture of wood stands out, and her dress is hand-sewn and fits her perfectly. Another little masterpiece that will brighten up your home.
Jan's puppets are diverse. Among the dwarves and bandits are also classic fairy-tale characters such as this princess.
It looks like the puppetry tradition of old times. But Jan's handwriting is visible on it. Both in the chisel strokes and in the color and method of patination. And one more interesting thing is worth mentioning. The dress is a combination of painting and fabric. The bodice is admitted to painted wood, the skirt is sewn from pleasant velvet.
It is connected to the wooden controller in the classic way. The puppet is attached by a wire from the head, legs and hands are tied to the threads. The wire is an advantage for the puppet also because you can easily play with the puppet, even if you hold it in your hand for the first time. And your threads won't get tangled :)
